PADUCAH, KENTUCKY: The Paducah
Aero Modelers held its third Demo Day. At
the first one there were approximately 90
cars, the second one hosted roughly 120,
and at this year’s event, 135 autos were
present, filled with families.
Between 9 and 10 a.m., CL fliers showed
off their skills for the audience. At 10 a.m.
two RC Show Teams—The Show Me Air
Kings and the Lincolnland Air Show
Team—combined to provide more than 100
minutes of flying. A local television station
broadcasted the event.
Jim Franklin and Randall provided a
hand-launch glider competition and
approximately 45 youngsters took part.
Allen Brickhaus supplied the Demo Day
pictures and information.
