Memberships paid each year on December 31, regardless of the date a membership form is received. All memberships begin on the day of receipt at AMA Headquarters of a properly completed and correctly processed membership form. Memberships may be paid for additional years beyond the year for which a correct current form and payment are received. Any unused portion of a one-year membership paid for as multiple years will be credited back to the purchaser. If payment is made by credit card, the credit card statement will show a charge by Academy of Model Aeronautics. Any changes in name or address must be reported to AMA Membership Department. Membership cards will be mailed within six weeks of receipt of application. Memberships include liability and accident/medical insurance coverage subject to the terms and conditions contained in the AMA Insurance Policy. Model Aviation subscription begins with the issue following receipt of payment. Membership rates and benefits are subject to change.
