JUNE WILL BE very exciting at our
International Aeromodeling Center in
Muncie, Indiana. The Academy has
provided a new home for the International
Extreme Flight Championship (XFC).
Extensive effort by the XFC crew and
the Academy will produce an unforgettable
event. Put June 15-17 on your calendar.
Please see the ads in MA or the XFC Web
site (http://futabarc.com/xfc-rc/) for up-todate
information.
District III’s Chris Maier and Quique
Somenzini are two of the invited pilots.
Cheer them on!
Competitors from at least 15 countries
will be in Muncie for the FAI Pylon World
Championships June 23-28. If you want to
support the US team and see the fastest RC
competition airplanes in the world, plan to
attend.

the-art equipment and more will follow.

The Ohio Radio Kontrol Society (TORKS)
recently donated to the Parks Department of
Grove City, Ohio, for programs directed
toward underprivileged children. The club
made another donation to the Sheriff’s
Department.
Activity such as this enhances the club’s
position with the community. Perhaps your
club should consider a similar effort.
