Spread Spectrum Radio Systems
Spread spectrum radio system technology is the topic of discussion everywhere we go. Two manufacturers are producing state-of-the-art equipment and more will follow. Should you use it? Why not — it works!
Community Outreach
The Ohio Radio Kontrol Society (TORKS) recently donated to the Parks Department of Grove City, Ohio, to support programs directed toward underprivileged children. The club also made a donation to the Sheriff’s Department. Activity such as this enhances the club’s position within the community. Perhaps your club should consider a similar effort.
Swap Meet
Associate vice presidents (AVPs) Joe Vislay and Jim Martin attended a swap meet sponsored by the Celina Flying Sportsman in Celina, Ohio. Jim Cherry, AMA’s new executive director, was a surprise attendee.
The following pictures, provided by Joe Vislay, illustrate some of the activity.
