District V Jamboree
Our first AMA District V Jamboree was a big success! The Azalea City Model Aeronautics Club of Mobile, Alabama, once again did a great job hosting the event.
Event director Frits Jetten had everything organized, was able to take lots of pictures, and enjoyed the weekend.
Frits reported 78 registered pilots and plenty of airplanes, jets, and helicopters. We enjoyed a high-noon Combat session, complete with some really awesome — and obligatory — mid-airs.
Everyone had a great time. Frits took more than 350 pictures; here are just a few. Sorry there weren’t captions for all!
