PEKIN, ILLINOIS: Lieutenant Michele
Lynne recently presented club #755, the
Pekin R/C Club, an American flag that had
flown over Camp Liberty in Baghdad. Lt.
Lynne is an army
nurse assigned to
the 10th Mountain
Division aiding
our service men
and women, as
well as Iraqi
civilians.
The flag that
had flown at the
club field was
damaged by a
storm. Lt. Lynne’s
uncle, Marv
Prather, thought
he’d try to get a flag from his niece and the
rest is history.
