How to Navigate AMA's Web Site, www.modelaircraft.org

Site navigation

  • Click the AMA logo at the top-left of any page to return to the home page.
  • Click the "Sign In" button to log in, reset your password, or register a new web account.
  • To search the entire site, type your subject in the search box and click "Search." The top search results will be shown.
  • The shopping cart icon appears at the top-right and shows how many items are in your cart. Click the cart to view its contents, click any links on the left to go to the online shop, or use the online store search function.

Join/Renew

  • This is the AMA Membership Application Center. Use it to apply for a new membership, renew a current membership, or try a three-month trial membership.

Publications

  • Model Aviation: The flagship monthly magazine of the Academy of Model Aeronautics (AMA). It covers all aspects of the hobby and sport and is provided as a member benefit. It is also available by subscription and in select hobby shops in the US and Canada.
  • The AMA Insider: Published electronically on a bimonthly basis for AMA members. Its purpose is to create a network of information exchange between chartered clubs, AMA officials, and chartered club officers.
  • Model Aviation’s Sport Aviator: Dedicated to helping new RC airplane pilots succeed. Features product reviews, piloting tips, and technical how-tos. This online publication is offered as a free service to anyone interested in model aviation.
  • Park Pilot magazine: AMA’s newest publication, launched in 2008 as a quarterly. It inspires, informs, and instructs small-field and indoor aviators. It is a benefit of membership in the Park Pilot Program; open AMA members can add a yearly subscription for $9.95.
