• Model Aviation, the flagship publication of the
Academy of Model Aeronautics (AMA). This
monthly magazine covers all aspects of the hobby
and sport and is provided as a benefit to members of
the Academy. It is available by subscription and
found in select hobby shops in the US and Canada.
• The AMA Insider is published electronically on a

bimonthly basis for members of the Academy of
Model Aeronautics. Its purpose is to create a network
of information exchange between the Academy of

• Model Aviation’s Sport Aviator is dedicated to
helping new RC airplane pilots succeed. Featuring
product reviews, piloting tips, and technical how-tos,
the online publication is offered by the Academy of
Model Aeronautics as a free service, available to
everyone with an interest in model aviation.
• Park Pilot magazine is AMA’s newest publication. A
quarterly launched in 2008, Park Pilot is the magazine
that inspires, informs, and instructs small-field and
indoor aviators. It is a benefit of membership in the
Park Pilot Program. Open AMA members can add a
yearly subscription for $9.95.
Competition/Events: Visit the AMA Contest Calendar,
review the Competition Regulations, and read about the
AMA Expo. There is a section for Frequently Asked
Questions, Contest Board Members, and a menu for the
AMA National Aeromodeling Championships (Nats) that
includes the schedule and registration information.
Education: Come here to read about our Scholarship
Program, download application forms, and learn about
AMA’s TAG (Take off And Grow) program. This area
also includes a list of modeling educators and an
information packet for educators.
Museum: This is the link to get to the National Model
Aviation Museum. From the museum page, you can read
about the History Program, obtain general information
