Celebrating the Centennial of Flight 2003/06

Edition: Model Aviation - 2003/06
Page Numbers: 33

Help celebrate the Centennial of Flight!
Homecoming is here once again! This
fly-in-style event means lots of open
flying for all AMA members at the
world’s largest flying site with no
landing fees.
2003 is the Centennial of Flight
celebration! To help honor this
achievement of the Wright brothers,
Homecoming will feature a variety of
special museum exhibits, aviation
exhibits, a Young Eagles full-scale
program, and hot-air-balloon flying.
AMA would also like to encourage
members with Scale vintage, pre-WW I,
WW I, and 1920s models to bring them
to fly and support the celebration theme.
Free Flight, Control Line, Radio Control
cars, rockets, boats, and kites are
welcome. Radio Control will be flown
from Stage Center!
Food and drinks will be available on-site
all three days for breakfast, lunch, and
dinner.
A free barbecue dinner for all AMA
members and their families will be
offered Saturday night. A general
membership meeting will also be held.
For additional information contact Steve
Kaluf at (765) 287-1256, ext. 230, or
