Readers share their comments and flight simulator tips from May’s flight simulator article: www.ModelAviation.com/simulator2013
- Allen Martin: With Phoenix, it’s not hard to take panoramas of your home field and insert those as a flyable venue in the game. And there’s online play. Pretty much makes it the winner for me.
- Flyin' Ryan RC: Very informative info about RC flight simulators.
- Scheer Bros. Hobbies: If you are in the market for a simulator, this is a great starting point to help find the right one for you.
- Toby Winters: I kinda wish the article could go into more detail. The video definitely helped show off some of the different features.
- Curt Olson: Maybe you could also include a very brief reference to FlightGear, which is more focused on full-scale aviation, but is open source and completely free to download.
- N8904V: Nice review.
- Scott Sautter: I learned on an FS one. Best physics in the business. Not enough updates.
- Larry Launstein Jr.: Any Windows-based flight simulator will work on a Mac as long as you have a recent Intel dual-core processor and a recent operating system (Leopard or later). Boot Camp is built in to divide your hard drive into Mac and Windows partitions.
