Listing and Information (For Contest Calendar)

  • NORMAL LISTING:
  • When an AMA sanction is issued for an event, the event will be listed automatically in the Contest Calendar if received in time. Sanction forms and listing forms should be mailed to your Contest Coordinator (except demos).
  • The listing will give the date, place, name of the event, and the AMA sanction number. A complete list of sanction numbers and event status is available at AMA Headquarters.
  • Events requiring special sanction forms (pattern, pylon, seaplane, etc.) must be sent to AMA Headquarters. For late listing, phone or mail the Contest Calendar Department at AMA Headquarters.
  • SUPPLEMENTARY ADS:
  • Display ads can be inserted in the Contest Calendar at a charge and may be listed in the same issue if space permits. Ads should be sent to AMA Headquarters. For sizes and rates contact the Contest Calendar Department.
  • AD POLICY:
  • Size: 1/8" wide and either 3/4", 1 1/8", or 2 1/4" high (other sizes available on request).
  • Pricing: $3 (1/8"), $6 (1/4"), $12 (1/2"), $24 for each time the ad is run (payable in advance).
  • Ad prep: Ads must be dark black on white. No half-tone or gray backgrounds. Good quality photocopies do not reproduce well. Ad copy must be mailed or e-mailed (specify desired run dates). Ads not AMA structural must be received 6 weeks prior to publication. Artwork cannot be used unless submitted to the Contest Calendar Department.
