NORMAL LISTING When an AMA sanction is issued for an event, the event will be listed automatically in the Contest Calendar section of our web site and in the print issue. Sanction forms and sanction listings are published as requested by the Contest Director (dates except). The listings will be printed one time. If the event is repeated in a later issue, it must be resubmitted.
SUPPLEMENTARY ADS Display ads can be inserted in the Contest Calendar section by paying a fee. These ads are accepted for AMA-sanctioned events or AMA club-sponsored non-fly events only. Ads should be camera-ready in the size indicated. To place an ad, contact Model Aviation Advertising Dept. Fees are based on ad size and whether the ad will appear in an AMA-chartered club.
AD POLICY SIZE: 1/8-page and other sizes as space is available.
PRICING: 3-6 months: 1/8 = $24 per month, 1/4 = $42 per month. 6-12 months: rates reduced. AMA-chartered clubs may qualify for a discount.
AD PREPARATION:
- Ads must be dark black on a white background for best reproduction.
- Include club contact name, phone number and e-mail address.
- Ads should be camera-ready; we can prepare artwork for a small fee.
- Occasionally, we will accept digital files; contact the Advertising Dept for format requirements.
SUBMITTAL DEADLINE: Every effort will be made to include entries received by the deadline for the issue. AMA Headquarters cannot guarantee that late entries will be published. Please allow at least 8 weeks lead time for material submitted for inclusion in the Contest Calendar. All submissions become the property of Model Aviation and may be edited for space and style.
