THE FOLLOWING material was sent to
me by Bob Wallace, the Associate Vice
President for Connecticut:
“The Northeastern Drone Society
(NEDS) held its first indoor fun-fly, the
Cabin Fever Indoor RC Fun-Fly, Sunday,
January 26, 2003, at the Mansfield Middle
School gymnasium in Mansfield,
Connecticut.
“Designed to combat the winter
doldrums, this gathering was well received
by club members and turned out to be the
first of what could be many future
gatherings at this site. Other area clubs
may also be invited to participate in future
fun-fly activities.
“All of the aircraft flown were electric
types that were primarily designed for
outdoor use. All in attendance had a good
time.”
