I have been asked many times, "Don't you fly anymore?" The answer is simple: yes! For the past couple of years I have been flying electric models, and at the Westchester Radio Aeromodelers (WRAM) Show this year I decided to enter the world of rotary flight.
These little indoor-type helicopters are addictive! I now own two. Flying in my kitchen or in my backyard provides a great deal of enjoyment without traveling several miles to the local flying field. The picture below proves that I can actually do it.
If you want a challenge, try this form of modeling.
During the past several months, Associate Vice President (AVP) Joe Vislay has provided a multitude of pictures. This issue we will attempt to provide some notoriety to those who dared to step in front of his camera. Thanks for the effort, Joe.
