CAPE GIRARDEAU, MISSOURI: The Southeast Missouri Modelers Association (SEMMA), Charter Club 249, held a charity fun-fly event at Galaxy Park in Cape Girardeau. The club successfully raised $2,000 for the St. Jude Research Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee.
Brian Seyer and Daniel Cook organized the event. Forty pilots were on hand, performing aerobatics, warbird flights, aerial combat, and helicopter flights. Pilots from several states took part in the activities.

Bowling Green, Kentucky: Charter Club 1158, the Sky Kings, held its first CL Speed contest at the club’s new fenced concrete circle that can accommodate all Speed events. The safety fence surrounds 75% of the circle and it has an access door and a nearby pit area.
