District VI Report - 2003/05
TERRE HAUTE IN: The Terre Haute RC Club held its four-stroke rally at McKibben Field just south of Terre Haute, Indiana. There were 36 pilots and 55 airplanes registered.
Joe Buck, contest director (CD) of this event, must be on the right side of the man upstairs, as the weather was almost perfect. There was sunshine with the temperature in the low 80s and roughly a 5-mph wind just barely quartering off the runway. Pilots were treated to lunch with their landing fee, and a large raffle was held with winners being drawn all day.
