WANTED
I need someone to serve as an Associate Vice President for central Kentucky and someone for southwestern Missouri.
Requirements: you must be a Leader Member, have E-mail, and know something about Free Flight, Control Line, and Radio Control. Duties are that you travel to club meetings, competitions, fun-flies, and swap meets. Once a year you must attend an Executive Council meeting in Muncie. I pay your expenses. If you are interested, give me a call.
Club News
Chicago, Illinois: The Chicagoland Circle Cutters sponsored the annual Frozen Finger contest. There was light snow on the ground, but it was plenty cold and windy. The pictures and information came from Lee Meyers.
Lafayette, Indiana: The Lafayette Cloud Jockeys had a flying visitor at their field. A bald eagle made several large circles over the club's field as he traveled south along the Wabash River. Ron Kovach, flying a friend's airplane, had an escort.
Peru, Illinois: The Illinois Valley Radio Control (IVRC) club recently held its annual mall show at the Peru Mall. Models were displayed by members of IVRC, the Putnam County Windy Flyers, and the Deer Park Flyers.
Approximately 30 models were displayed. Kids of all ages tried the flight simulator and watched videotapes of Radio Control flying. David Erlenbach sent the pictures and information.
