Club and Event Reports

Jacksonville, Illinois Tethered electric radio control (RC): Harvey Scott of Jacksonville loves to build models. He uses a 12-volt car battery to power the airplane and an RC transmitter for elevator and throttle. Harvey plans to build a higher tower, 12 feet tall, so he can do loops and figure eights. He says he can fly all afternoon on one charge of the car battery. Pictures and information were supplied by Robert Tendick.

Tell City, Indiana The Airmasters Radio Control Club has a member, John Hagedorn, who will soon be blazing across the sky in his P-38. No information was provided about the engines, but you can see the tuned pipes in the picture.

Rough River, Kentucky Indiana AVP Frank Roales was at the Mint Julep and sent in photographs.

Vincennes, Indiana The Tri-County Aero Club hosted the Society of Antique Modelers (SAM) 57 meet. Frank Roales sent in the information and pictures.
