JACKSONVILLE,

Control (RC)! Harvey
Scott of Jacksonville
loves to build models.
He uses a 12-volt car
battery to power the
airplane and an RC
transmitter for
elevator and throttle.
Harvey plans to
build a higher tower,
12 feet tall, so he can
do loops and figure
eights. He says he can
fly all afternoon on
one charge of the car
battery. Pictures and

Tell City, Indiana: The Airmasters Radio
Control Club has a member, John Hagedorn,
who will be soon blazing across the sky in
his P-38.
No information was sent about what
engines, but you can see the tuned pipes in
the picture in the next column.

a long stroke and used to vibrate quite a
bit until he put this bar stock around the
front of the crankcase.
