Lexington, Kentucky

The Lexington Model Airplane Club held its Kentucky Classic Fly-in. Forty-one pilots with 65 models from Oklahoma to Georgia attended. Aircraft from World War I models to today's jets were present.

One of the objectives of the fly-in was to raise money for the Cardinal Hill Rehabilitation Hospital. Because of the generosity of the pilots and the spectators, $1,500 was donated to the hospital.

Pictures and information are from Curtis Adams, the event director.

Pekin, Illinois

The Pekin RC Club held its 24th Fly-in at Herman Lowery Field in Everett McKinley Dirksen Park in Pekin. The 25th Fly-in will be held this fall.
