CROWN POINT, INDIANA: The Crown
Point Aeromodelers held its annual firstday-
of-the-year chili fly.

The weather was misty rain and
temperatures in the mid-30s, but in spite of
it all everyone had a great time.
A few die-hards even got in some flying
time. The club had lots of hot chili and
coffee to keep warm.
There was only one mishap of the day
when Ron Parent had to dead-stick into the
corn field. Even the water puddles on the
field didn’t stop the flights.

Henry Doffin, who was home from college,
attended the fly-in.
