District VIII - 2006/07
OKC 3-D Extreme Challenge Indoor Electric Aircraft Competition and Fun-Fly (February 25–26, 2006)
On February 25–26, 2006, the OKC 3-D Extreme Challenge Indoor Electric Aircraft Competition and Fun-Fly was held at the 45th Infantry Armory in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

The event hosted 35 fliers from 10 states. The fliers participated in four events:
- Freestyle
- Obstacle Course
- Hover-off
- Combat
The four judges were:
- Bill Holland, Top Gun Contest Director
- Ken Brown, hang glider pilot
- Joe Underwood, 10-300 Ultimate pilot
- Mason Dunn, TV 9 News helicopter pilot
Greg Ward from TV 9 provided sound for the fliers. Jim Flannigan, with help from three Team Futaba member assistants, served as Contest Director (CD) for the event.
Sean McMurtry won the Freestyle event and the $500 first-place prize, and also received the $1,000 award from Hobby Lobby, International for the win with an AXI motor.
