Durafly Auto-G

Upon opening the box, we were struck by how few parts there were and how much was already assembled.
The Durafly Auto-G Gyrocopter was a relatively easy build with only nine steps in the instructions. The majority of the model was assembled with small bolts and nuts, so be prepared to spend time searching if one slips off onto the floor.
We read the instructions and checked out the HobbyKing website, where we saw that there was a note: Page 8 of the user manual shows incorrect information for the "rotor control direction." Please see the amendment sheet attached under the "Files" tab.
For construction, follow the instruction manual beginning with the main gear, then the tail and propeller. The vertical stabilizer and spinner are glued on. For the rotor assembly, one of the blades is factory installed on the blade-shaft plate. Look at that and then repeat for the other two blades.
