This month I am going to highlight my
brothers in the Profile Brotherhood headed
by none other than Jim T. Graham, also
known as “Billy Hell.” If you see Jim
wandering around at an event, please ask
him how he got that name!
The first event is from a fellow Kansan,
Troy Hamm, who submitted the following:
“On August 28-30, 2009 the Franklin
County Flyers of Wellsville, Kansas,
hosted its third annual South Kansas City
ProBro. There were 42 registered fliers
and over 20 spectators in attendance.
“Pilots came from all over the Midwest
including Kansas, Missouri, Iowa, and
Illinois. The farthest distance traveled was
by Ron and Jean Wilson who came from
Ontario, Canada.
“For three days pilots flew all day, and
then flew foamies under portable lights
late into the night. The Franklin County
Flyers did a great job hosting the event and
no one went away hungry. Pilots enjoyed
pizza for supper Friday night, sub
sandwiches for lunch Saturday, and a
catered barbecue Saturday evening.
“The weather was perfect and everyone
had a great time. AMA’s own Mark Smith
was in attendance and he was flying 3-D
like a pro.
“Thanks to everyone who attended.”

This fall, I again attended the granddaddy
of ProBro events: NashBro! It was great
seeing all my brothers again and, even
though the weather did not cooperate, we
all had a super time.
Jim has set the stage for this and all
ProBro events with an earnest
concentration on one thing: having fun!
Just take a look at the pictures and you will
see what I mean. Lots of laughs and
always conducted with safety in mind.
