HI EVERYONE! Wow, has this month been crazy! We moved to the beautiful state of Arkansas on July 10, and left the next day for a two-week trip to the East Coast for the Red Bull event in New York City.
Afterward I attended my first National Aeronautic Association (NAA) Board meeting in Washington DC. NAA has a seat on our AMA Executive Council so we have one on its board, which should prove beneficial for making contacts throughout the industry.
One item of particular interest at the NAA meeting was about getting youth involved in aviation. That's a great lead-in to our new Education Director, Bill Pritchett who recently joined the staff. Since I am just now catching my breath here in Arkansas, I want to introduce you to Bill and let him tell you about his plans for AMA's Education endeavors.
