Membership Renewal
By the time each member receives this magazine, he or she should have received a customized Renewal Notice reflecting the price of his or her membership category (including credits or discounts) for 2002.
Each member who is eligible to vote should have also received an attached ballot for voting in the 2001 election of officers.
Membership payments must be received by December 15, 2001 to guarantee delivery of the March 2001 Model Aviation (if included with membership).
Be sure to renew early to avoid a delay in receiving your 2002 license card. (Please allow three to four weeks for your membership card to arrive.)
AMA offers several ways to renew your membership. One is to visit the Web site—www.modelaircraft.org—and complete the online renewal form. Another is to call toll-free at (877) 363-9262 between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. Monday through Friday.
MasterCard™ and Visa® are accepted.
Please take the time to vote! Districts I, V, IX, and the office of AMA president are up for election. See the November, 2001 Model Aviation for the candidates’ campaign statements.
The election ballot is attached to the bottom of the Renewal Notice, and it should be mailed (postage paid) to the address on the reverse side.
Do not mail your ballot to AMA Headquarters; if you do, your vote will not count. Mail ballots directly to the accounting firm of Brady, Ware & Schoenfeld.
If you have a question concerning your Renewal Notice, contact a customer-service representative at (800) 435-9262 or (765) 287-1256, or fax the Membership Department at (765) 741-0057.
