Following is suggested language for
an AMA member’s will when he/she
wishes to beqeath property and/or money
to the AMA.
“I give, devise, and beqeath the sum
of ___ dollars ($___) to the Academy of
Model Aeronautics Inc., a section
501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization with
its Headquarters currently located in
Muncie, Indiana, with the request that
such bequest be used for the following
purposes: … ” MA

Inventing Flight
AMA members who plan on visiting
the International Aeromodeling Center in
2003 should consider a trip to nearby
Dayton OH, which will host an important
celebration of the Wright brothers and
man’s first flight in a powered aircraft.
The year 2003 marks the 100th
anniversary of the historic flight.
Orville and Wilbur Wright grew up in
Dayton OH—approximately 75 miles
from the International Aeromodeling
Center, located in Muncie IN.
Inventing Flight: Dayton 2003, the
non-profit organization planning
Dayton’s celebration, will offer a
yearlong series of educational, arts and
cultural, sporting, and, of course, aviation
events commemorating the birth and
future of aviation. Inventing Flight is
supported by the Academy and dozens of
other aviation-related organizations.
