Happy Holidays!

By the time you read this, 2014 will be coming to a close and indoor flying events will be in full swing. Those who embrace building during the winter months should be making headway on their respective projects, and I look forward to seeing photo submissions of new projects for possible inclusion in upcoming installments of "Focal Point."

At the AMA, we will be preparing for the 2015 AMA Expo to be held January 9–11 at the Ontario Convention Center in Ontario, California. The Expo is a great venue to interact with a large number of exhibitors and get a firsthand look at new 2015 product releases on display.

If you are looking for deals on older products, the Expo Swap Shop is the place to find closeouts and some hard-to-find hobby merchandise. When you are ready for a break, several guest speakers will be on hand to provide presentations covering a wide range of hobby-related topics. For the latest information about exhibitors, guest speakers, and hours of operation, be sure to visit www.amaexpo.com.

Thank You for Being a Member!

Thank you for your support of the AMA and Model Aviation magazine this year. The entire Model Aviation staff and I remain committed to continuing to provide you with a high-quality publication each month to inspire, inform, and instruct enthusiasts who share a passion for aeromodeling.

We will continue to request your feedback by surveying a portion of our readers each month to ensure our magazine content meets the needs of the majority of our readers.

Thank you to everyone who has already renewed their membership, and for those who haven’t, I hope the magazine will be one of many reasons you choose to renew. If it isn’t, I would like your input on how we can make Model Aviation better meet your needs. Contact me at [email protected].
