Ugly-Sport park flyer — BMJR Model Products
BMJR Model Products Box 1210, Sharpses, FL 32959-1210 Tel.: (321) 537-1159 Web site: www.bmjrmodels.com
The Ugly-Sport is BMJR's second RC park flyer. After flight-testing four prototypes, it developed into a low-wing sport design capable of rudder/elevator aerobatics and flies straight-and-level with minimal trim.
The average modeler can build the Ugly-Sport to the target weight of 10 ounces, producing a wing loading of seven ounces per square foot for relaxed slow-flying. The wingspan can be clipped from 33 to 29 inches to increase wing loading for better wind performance.
The design accommodates several Speed 280-class motor configurations with an easy motor change-out for experimenting with different motor/battery combinations.
Kit contents:
- 61 laser-cut parts
- Full-size plans
- Photo-illustrated instruction manual
If not available at your local hobby shop, the Ugly-Sport (kit B-302) is available from BMJR Model Products for $39.75 + $4 S&H.
