Paaks and three-view drawings, has
expanded its inventory.
The 250-page 2001 issue of this
catalog lists more than 8,000 Foto-

The Paaks are sold on a
satisfaction-guaranteed basis, and
orders are usually mailed within 24
hours because of the large inventory.
The three-views are Koku-fan

from modeling and/or full-scale aircraft
magazines and other sources.
Bob’s Aircraft Documentation is the
world’s exclusive dealer of the Koku-
Fan three-views—considered by
many modelers the standard in

Launching System from Horizon
Hobby Distributors, Inc., 4105
Fieldstone Rd., Champaign IL 61822;
Tel.: (217) 355-9511; Web site:

A hi-start is strongly recommended to
launch a sailplane. The new G-Force
SLS (Sailplane Launching System)
features some of the highest-quality,
well-though-out components available.
Featuring a large-diameter brightorange
reel that takes up more footage
per crank than its competitors, winding
the G-Force is quicker and easier.
The parachute is made from heavyduty
ripstop nylon, with the shrouds sewn
through the parachute throughout its
length so it won’t slide up the shrouds.
Black surgical tubing is supplied,
providing better ultraviolet protection for
longer life. The 100-pound-test nylon line
is fluorescent yellow for better visibility.
The G-Force SLS is available in four
versions. The full-length version
requires a 700-foot-long field to launch,
gives launches up to 500 feet, and
includes 100 inches of surgical tubing
with 300 inches of line.
The half-length version requires a
350-foot-long field, and will give
launches up to 250 feet.
The full- and half-length versions are
available in standard tube sizes for
sailplanes as large as Two-Meter and
heavy-duty tubing for 100-inch and
larger sailplanes.
The G-Force SLS 200 Two-Meter

Arrow-shaft pushrod inserts from B&B
Specialties, 14234 Cleveland Rd.,
Granger IN 46530; Tel.: (219) 277-0499;
Web site: www.bennettbuilt.com.
If you are into Giant Scale model
airplanes, the last thing you need is a
wimpy pushrod. You need a pushrod
that will transfer every bit of the servo
power to the control surface.
B&B Specialties’ light aluminum
arrow-shaft, with insert fittings, will
deliver every ounce of push from the
servo to the control surface.
The arrow-shaft inserts come in
two styles: #606, for rudder and
single-elevator control hookup, and
#607—a dual insert that will allow
dual-elevator hookup.
The pushrod inserts are designed to
fit the Easton aluminum arrow shaft
#2117, which is available at most
archery shops or can be purchased
direct from B&B Specialties.
A joiner-connector, #608, is
available for joining two arrow-shafts
for longer-length pushrods. These are
top-quality parts.
The inserts are secured in the arrow
shaft with a 4-40 cross-bolt and elastic
stop nut. Extra elastic stop nuts are
supplied for locking 4-40 pushrods to the
inserts. Clevises or ball links to hookup
the servo and control horn are not
supplied with either insert package.
Call or write to B&B Specialties for
more information.

Unlimited, Box 66527, Albuquerque
NM 87193-6527; Tel.: (505) 994-8083;
Web site: www.kamodels.com.
This MiG-15 was originally designed
by Steve Toshci, and it appeared on
the front cover of Sailplane & Electric
Modeler magazine as the Stoli.
K&A Models Unlimited has since
updated this design, and added
features such as a molded top hatch
for access to the battery pack and
radio equipment, a vacuum-formed
battery tray, scale canopy detail, and
molded fiberglass inlet and exhaust
liners.
The MiG-15 lends itself to a number
of power units. You can set up your jet

power system, such as the Kyosho fan
unit and a brushed motor, or go all-out
with a WeMoTec fan unit and a
brushless motor.
The MiG-15 is very stable in flight,
and is fully aerobatic. The kit builds
very fast because of the fully molded
fiberglass fuselage, molded inlet and
exhaust liners, precut-to-shape tail
surfaces, and foam core wings you
cover with the balsa sheeting
provided.
The MiG-15 is ideal for intermediate
and advanced pilots.
Specifications: wingspan, 37.75
inches; wing area, 295 square inches;
