Spinner that is slotted for propellers
used on 120-180 four-stroke engines!
Tru-Turn Precision Model Products is
making the popular P-51 Style Spinner
in a 31⁄2-inch-diameter size for a
Hangar 9 P-51 60-size ARF.
These spinners are slotted for APC
propellers ranging from 15 x 8 up to 17
x 10 two-blade and can be specially
slotted for others. Horizon Hobby is
now carrying this item specifically for
the Hangar 9 60 P-51 ARF, but it
works well in many applications where
a “less pointy” spinner is desired on a
120-180 four-stroke application.
There are two 31⁄2-inch spinners
available. One is for standard engine
shaft diameters (part TT-3502-B-120),
and one is specifically designed for
use with Saito engines with a 10mm
shaft (part TT-3502-B-120-10). These
spinners are slotted for two-blade
propellers, but they are also available
with three- and four-blade cutouts
when necessary, at no extra charge.

The Spirit of Yesteryear Model
Aircraft Co. announces that its latest
kit—Vic Smeed’s Pushy Cat—is now in
production. The Pushy Cat is a 35-
inch-wingspan sport model from the
1950s that features slightly swept
wings and a “T” tail.
Neil Tinker redrew the Pushy Cat to
accommodate a standard Speed 400
motor on seven cells and lightweight
RC equipment. This makes for a
pleasing, peppy aircraft. By moving up
in size to a 450 or 480 motor, modelers
will see a more than lively
performance.
The kit features laser cutting, plan
and building guide, and all hardware
including aluminum landing gear and
wheels. Modelers not yet caught by the
electric bug may choose to use a 1⁄2A
engine or .75 diesel.

SmartSmoker Simple Smoke Pump.
The SmartSmoker is based on its
predecessor, The Simple Smoke Pump
II, which is an easy-to-install smoke
system that doesn’t require pressure
tapping or complex plumbing, valves,
and servos.
For the SmartSmoker, TME has
designed a new intelligent Flow Rate
Controller. Now you can fine-tune the
oil rate of your smoke system for
optimum performance from the
transmitter! Plus, the advanced
microprocessor controller also features
“Smart Prime” technology that provides
the power to make the initial prime
effortless (patent pending).
The new pump controller in the
SmartSmoker eliminates the restrictive
pinch valve, saving precious battery
power and adding the convenience of
fine-tuning the oil rate from the
transmitter.
The special Flow Rate Controller is
not just a standard motor speed
controller. This design provides a full
adjustment of the flow rate by setting
the transmitter’s end point adjustment
