Swashplate Alignment Plate from Miniature Aircraft USA, 3743 Silver Star Rd., Orlando FL 32808; Tel.: (407) 292-4267; Fax: (407) 292-4296; Web site: www.x-cellrhelicopters.com.
The Swashplate Alignment Plate (part #0513) allows visual alignment of the swashplate at any collective position.
The plate slides easily on the shaft, and it can be locked using a nonmetallic setscrew. This is particularly useful when setting up a CCPM helicopter, to ensure that when exercising the collective function, no cyclic movement is introduced.

From the fully accessible power plant to the clean control-surface configuration, the Kangaroo’s simple, elegant design makes it a logical choice for modelers who are interested in entering the realm of turbine-powered aircraft.
This IMAA (International Miniature Aircraft Association)-legal kit spans 70 inches, weighs 10-18 pounds depending on setup, and features all-composite construction with all formers and gear mounts factory-installed. Servo locations come with the hatches and the covers molded in. Construction is limited and requires installation of retracts, radio, and power plant.
The Kangaroo’s aerodynamics allow it to be flown with a glow engine (.61-.91) or a 10- to 20-pound-thrust turbine. Conversion from piston to turbine power can be done in a weekend.
The FiberClassics Kangaroo is available in a variety of color schemes including a white top with red bottom, a yellow top with blue bottom, or a patriotic flag design.
The introductory model kit price is $800, and combinations with model kit and turbine gear start as low as $2,999.
Planes Plus, Inc. will assist you in obtaining all necessary turbine waivers required by AMA and offers a building service for your Kangaroo or any other FiberClassics aircraft. Planes Plus stocks a complete line of servos, engines, and all necessary accessories.
