radio drifts temperature changes 2 Use tape seal other method allows free movement surfaces keeps air bleeding through hinge lines 3 Balance aircraft per kit manufactur er s recommendation Never sacrifice proper radio installation purpose balancing aircraft example never put battery pack under fuel tank F-I aircraft Reason cant put enough foam around battery protect vibration better off adding nose weight tail weight get plane balance right 4 Now fly aircraft Set trims plane flies dead level pitch roll release control sticks Take aircraft up high enough can level wing dive model 30- whether amount elevator throw produces turn radius comfortable Dont try turn model too tightly No 1 pylon because kills speed Better cruise around No 1 pylon bang slow model down 6 Once get throw set liking try few turns like flying No 1 pylon Have friend stand 300 400 feet outside course check see model does yaw flying its side does correct situation rudder trim 7 Next thing to check model rolling turn out roll No 1 pylon pull Up elevator model should neither climb nor dive turn dives add 1/4 ounce weight right wing tip try again Keep adding weight until model turns properly model
