RADIO CONTROL PYLON RACING 41 BOY 1996 has quite year Weve got some contest reports Northeast first lets look something else Pylon Racing has come long way since Ive racing now seem shooting ourselves foot Lets look what have Texas have three different classes Q500 using 40 size engine flying same type airplane difference speed Now have QM4O took place 15-size QM still have Formula Now have five events use 40size engine does weaken dilute eventsexactly what has happened Texas am seeing just about everywhere else too say Just look turnout years Nats Well look little closer same guys enter event guess what same guys have racing years Heres point Q500 started intention getting new people interested Pylon Racing doing just Just about everyone racing Q500 doing club level Most restricting engine props fun anyone could fly event What happened Well racing people want win want go faster real serious guys took over made Q500 national event Special airplanes special props etc Now Q500s go just about fast Formula desperation some districts have developed different classes Q500 try slow down making place new guy start ended up three Q500 classes Texas No gave much thought cost extra work
