THIS YEAR I had a chance to attend my second Nats. It has been a few years since I last went, and this was the first time I had the chance to fly at the International Aeromodeling Center (IAC) at AMA Headquarters. The last time I went to the Nats, Slow Survivable Combat (SSC) was not competing at the IAC, but was held at another site a few days before.

If you have never been to the facility in Muncie, Indiana, it is such a great place to fly. The flyover area is big with no obstacles. This is something new to me, since I do most of my flying over a nursery that grows trees.
