Joyce Hager, Executive Director

After six years of sharing a facility with the National Model Aviation Museum, AMA will have a new administration building.

Those who have visited the Muncie site and have had an opportunity to tour the current building will agree that the employees of AMA have a less-than-desirable place to work.

The new administration building will be to the left of the entrance, south of the pond, as you enter the AMA site. It will be a one-story building, except for one section—the boardroom (conference area) and an observation deck. From the observation deck you will be able to look at the site in three directions.

The scheduled groundbreaking for the new building is March 2000, with occupancy scheduled for March 2001. When the new building is complete, plans to expand the National Model Aviation Museum and the museum store will begin.

I hope that all members will be proud of the new building and will share the enthusiasm with us on this much-needed project.

If you have any questions concerning the new facility, please drop me a line and I will be glad to address them.

Happy flying,

Joyce Hager Executive Director [email protected]
