Bell 206 Jet Ranger

Chris Reibert ([email protected]) from Macedon, New York, submitted this photo of his RC Aerodyne Bell 206 Jet Ranger.

Pilot

Chris wrote that he has been in the hobby since he was six years old. He grew up next to a private airplane field and watched planes fly over his house from a very young age. He got into helicopters in the mid-’90s with a Lite Machines 110 thanks to Ray Stacy and has been hooked ever since. He enjoys flying 3-D but also likes to relax and fly scale birds.

Model

The Jet Ranger is a Chaos 600 stretched to a 700. It features hinged front doors that open, a full cockpit with instruments and seats, and cable cutters. Chris says, “Seeing something that big fly around the field is truly a sight to see. It carries so much field presence and is a sure hit to draw a crowd anytime it is in the air. I have taken it to over seven events this summer, both airplane and helicopter, and it gets the crowd on its feet and their cameras in the air.”
