“The Radio Control Club of Detroit (RCCD) holds a two-day, all-electric extravaganza called Watts Over Wetzel (WOW). Wetzel refers to the name of the State of Michigan Recreation Area where the RCCD field is located. The last WOW event was held July 26-27, 2014. The 2015 event is scheduled for May 16-17, 2015.
“During the 2013 noontime show, two local 3-D hotshots put on a music-choreographed show.
“The blue, white, and yellow aircraft is an Extreme Flight 60-inch Edge 540T. It is powered by a Torque 4016 500, Air Boss 80-amp ESC, and Hayin 6S 4,000 mAh LiPo battery. A Spektrum DX8 provides the radio link. It is being flown by Tristen.
“The red, white, and blue aircraft is an Extreme Flight 60-inch Extra 300. It is powered by a Hacker A5014S, Castle [Creations] 80-amp ESC, and AeroModel 5S 5,000 mAh LiPo battery. A JR 11X controls the Spektrum onboard radio. [Chris is] the pilot.”

Joe used a Nikon D70s with a focal length of 112mm to take the photo. His settings included an f-stop of f/7.1 and ISO of 400 at 1/2500 second.
