David Schneck ([email protected]), the club secretary for the Signal Seekers R/C Club in Westland, Michigan, sent this photo of A.J. Jaffe's SAB Heli Division Goblin 700. The helicopter uses a Castle Creations ICE 160, 12S 5,000 mAh Opti-Power packs, stock SAB rotor blades, and all Futaba electronics.

David wrote:

"The Signal Seekers recently made a push to become more 'heli-friendly' and include more helicopter pilots in the club. Since last year, the number has grown from one or two (out of 80 members) to more than a dozen, and continues to increase as the season gets underway. If the weather is right (and sometimes even when it isn't) precision heli pilots are now a regular sight out at the field, putting on amazing demonstrations that seemingly defy the laws of physics. Helicopters will be featured prominently alongside their fixed-wing cousins at this year's annual air show on June 23."

David snapped this photo (noting that he did so from a safe distance) with a Canon Digital Rebel XT and Sigma 300mm lens, at a focal length of 190mm, with an f-stop of f/7.1 at 1/2000 second and an ISO of 400.
