REALISM IN FLIGHT. How important these words are to how well we are scored in competition with our Scale RC aircraft! How many times have you read what the AMA Competition Regulations book spells out under the heading of "RC Scale Flight Judging Guide"? If you opt for a high-place finish in competition, I think you have to constantly read and reread this portion of the rule book. It spells it all out as to what the judges are looking for and what you are expected to do. I believe the flight plan should be thought about as soon as you decide what kind of model you will build-and maybe even before that, depending on how you like to fly and what kind of flying site you use.
