Radio Control: Soaring
THE 1993 AMA Nationals were originally scheduled for midsummer in Lubbock, Texas. Conflict with the FAA left AMA scrambling for a new site. Finally, AMA decided to return to its 1991 site in Vincennes, Indiana. Unfortunately for those in the soaring community, scheduling put the event just two weeks away from the LSF (League of Silent Flight) National Championships. Between this scheduled conflict and the floods in the midwest, this year's attendance was sparse, at best.
