AMERICA is in the midst of a celebration of gratitude and of awe of the men and women of Desert Storm and their dedication. Three years ago my club, the Fort Wayne (Indiana) Flying Circuits first got involved with another group of military heroes; the U.S. Marine Reserves and the Toys for Tots program. Since 1947 a dedicated group of Marines has been collecting and distributing toys for needy families in their communities. The program has grown from an annual Los Angeles-area project to a nationwide campaign. By now virtually anywhere you find Marines you will also find Marines involved in helping their communities.
