ARF Wing Repair
ONE OF THE skills any serious RC pilot needs is the ability to repair a severely damaged wing-even that of an Almost Ready to Fly (ARF) model. Even if you don't like to build, sooner or later you will still need to know how to repair the wing of your model. No model that is flown frequently maintains its pristine, newly-built beauty without some attention by the modeler. You may very well experience an event that leaves your model with one good wing and one wing that's shattered-as recently happened to me. Here's how to repair that broken wing to return your Almost Ready to Fly model to its original beauty and flyability. (This procedure would also work for a kit-built wing.)

This simple statement has been the basic premise for investigation of full-scale aircraft disasters by the National Transportation Safety Board. The objective of the investigation board for a crash is to identify the cause of that crash, and by learning this, be able to prevent future crashes that might spring from that same cause.
