Waltzing Matilda
THE WALTZING MATILDA Wakefield, which placed second at the 1979 Taft World Championships, is a variant of a typical Australian design. Her longer tail moment, dihedral in the tailplane, and the ARA-D prop airfoil (as featured in the 1979 NFFS International Symposium Report) added up to a design that could hold its own against the best in the world.
