Sal Taibi Fun-Fly
The Sal Taibi Fun-Fly, held on January 12, 2013, honored aeromodeling legend Sal Taibi after his passing. Organized by Kevin Sherman and Daniel Heinrich, the event at Taibi Field featured around 40 attendees, many bringing Taibi-designed models. Despite cold weather, participants enjoyed flying, socializing, and remembering Sal, who was beloved for his generosity and humor.
