Flop
I REMEMBER being in the mood to build a new plane, a few years ago, but didn't have the balsa necessary for any of the projects I had envisioned. However, I did have this nice big flat piece of cardboard I was using for a work board. A few hours later, I no longer had a work board, but I had an unpainted cardboard airplane (using box construction). This was a high-wing monoplane designed for the wing to be glued on last (after the balance point had been determined). The performance of this plane surprised me. It was capable of consecutive loops, and it stayed out well on long lines in windy conditions. It also had a long landing glide.
