Northwest CL Regionals

IF IT WAS Control Line action you wanted, Eugene, Oregon was the place to be on Memorial Day weekened, 1987. For proof positive that this traditional event is still the largest Control Line competition on the west coast, just look at this year's numbers: 74 entrants and over 200 event entries makes a pretty impressive showing. With its abundance of competition activities (over 25 events), the Regionals is looked upon by most of the regulars as more than just a contest. It's really thought of more as a celebration, or a Control Line party. Entrants come from all over the western states and Canada. It's an opportunity to renew annual acquaintances as well as to make new ones. The Regionals also draws many noncompetitive modelers from the area who show up just to spectate and be part of the general exuberance.
