THE INSPIRATION for this idea goes back to at least two sources. The first was an article in one of the model magazines about a Speed flier who had tape-recorded the sound of one of his expensive racing engines as it was in the process of burning itself up at top rpm. He later listened to the tape, and played notes on the piano which most closely matched the beautiful sound (to him) of his racing engine as it was committing hari-kari. At the time, I felt that what would work for a Speed guy would surely work for a Stunt flier like me.
