LED BY TEAM MANAGER Bud Romak, U.S. team members Cezar Banks, Bob Randolph, Larry Cailliau, and defending Indoor World Champion Jim Richmond, carried off first prizes individually and as a team from the Indoor World Championships at Cardington, England. Seventeen other nations participated, more than at any other time in the history of international Indoor flying competition. Experience and reliability, plus a large proportion of good fortune, paid off for all of us. Our veteran Indoor man, Jim Richmond, ran away with the individual honors. This made it two in a row for Jim; he won the championship in Nagoya, Japan in 1984.
