AS I AM writing this, I spent the past
weekend at the Northwest Model Hobby
Expo in Monroe, Washington.
All new events go through growing pains
but this year all the hard work and planning
paid off. This year’s event was well attended
and show manager John Foglesong and his
crew are to be complimented!
There were several new venders present
and the swap meet was well laid out and
easy to navigate. A pond was set up for boat
demonstrations and there were Battle Bot
demos, Indoor flying, and even rockcrawling
demonstrations.
At the same time on the fairgrounds there
was a general swap meet and a gun show on
this huge complex. I think this may have
helped attendance for all of the events.
