Burlington Area Radio Control Society Swap Meet
The Burlington Area Radio Control Society held its annual swap meet at the Fairchild Center earlier this year. There was plenty to buy and look at.
There was a great model display featuring both military and civilian aircraft. Even Dick Pettit, one of the local writers, was around to help out. Some attendees came to sell and some to buy; most went away satisfied.
These swap meets fill a void in the winter months during building season and offer a time to renew friendships. Many are preparing for the upcoming flying season with the bargains they acquired.
