The Fredericksburg Aeromasters
Model Airplane Club in
Fredericksburg, Virginia, participated
in the Spotsylvania Towne Centre’s
Family Fun Day on November 5,
2011. This event was loaded with
family fun.
The club members provided an
outstanding static display with more
than 40 model aircraft, handed out
material provided by AMA, and
answered many questions about the
sport of model aviation. The crowd
was great, and we were pleased to see
the number of families interested in
the AMA and the club’s static display.

Fire Flight 2011 took place October
29, 2011, at the Tri-County Radio
Control Club’s field in Hurdle Mills,
North Carolina. The club, along with
surrounding fire departments, enjoyed
a fun-filled day of RC flying complete
with a noontime demonstration. All
proceeds earned during the Fire Flight
went to benefit the local volunteer fire
departments.
Ron King is stepping down from the
position of associate vice president.
Ron, thank you for your many years of
service. We will miss you and wish you
well in your future. Don’t forget us.
