January 1, 2015, brought out the hardy fliers! The Nampa Model Aviators of Idaho, joined by five members of the Boise Area Remote Kontrol Society, braved the 9° temperatures to share chili, doughnuts, coffee, and hot dogs to ring in the New Year. This is a wonderful way for two clubs to gather and enjoy their common interest!
Members of the Whidbey Island Radio Control Society of Washington gathered in the best weather anyone could remember on January 1. This Polar Bear event has outlasted even the oldest of members in the club. In the wind, rain, snow, and even sunny skies, the group enjoyed a reason to gather for hot cider, coffee, cookies, and lots of flying. Happy 2015!
